Our Value |
Established in 1995, Corrosion Management Services (CMS) Nigeria Limited has grown dramatically since its formation as a specialized corrosion service provider. While capitalizing on the growing demand for diversified services, our continuous growth and expansion is attributed to quality service and workmanship.
Our name reflects what we do. CMS are concerned with the mission of protecting people, assets, and the environment from the effects of corrosion.
The occurrence of corrosion is inevitable. It impacts many different industries and the environment. The public worldwide is greatly affected and everyone pays the price in one way or another for the ravages of corrosion. To neglect the impact of corrosion is to ignore the potential failures posing serious risk of damage to capital assets, production loss and downtime, and safety and environmental hazards.
CMS are providers of corrosion services and products for a variety of industries including oil and gas, petrochemical plants, water, power plants, marine. We provide the most complete line of corrosion monitoring systems, viz: cathodic protection, designing for corrosion control, pipeline rehabilitation and repair, internal corrosion control, condition monitoring and inspections, coatings, failure analysis, consultancy, and develop maintenance programs to keep corrosion in check.
Our cathodic protection staff have experience beyond specific skill, which differentiates us from our local competitors, and add value to the customers we work for. We are surveyors of pipelines using DCVG, steel pipe rehabilitation and repair using proprietary products. CMS is a one-stop house for supply of materials, equipment, instruments and accessories for a full range of cathodic protection field testing and engineering services. Our service encompasses corrosion testing and selection of materials of construction; specification writing; quality control and testing determination.
CMS offers a full spectrum of corrosion control techniques for underground and above ground corrosion control. Our engineers are trained and certified by NACE in our various fields of service, and also well informed of the latest in corrosion research and applications.
CMS does not do any work in unsafe conditions. “Safety” is for our protection and that of our fellow workers, assets and the environment. Some typical hazards are always encountered in operations. Safety may take some extra time but it cannot be compromised and must always be uppermost in our business as we go about our work. CMS address safety hazards by completing a job safety analysis (JSA) which identifies each hazard and the preventive measures for each step of the project, which are then incorporated into the job work procedure.
